Welcome to Worker Connect. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, website, and services. By accessing or using Worker Connect, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.
Eligibility
To use Worker Connect, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- For workers: Possess valid identification and required work permits in Tanzania
User Accounts
Account Types: Worker Connect offers three account types: Worker, Client, and Agent.
- Workers: Must upload valid national ID, complete profile verification, and maintain accurate skill listings
- Clients: Must provide accurate company/personal information and payment details
- Agents: Must meet recruitment standards and comply with agent-specific terms
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Services
Worker Connect provides a platform connecting clients with verified workers. Our services include:
- Job posting and worker matching
- Identity verification for workers
- Time tracking and progress monitoring
- Payment facilitation (where applicable)
- Review and rating systems
- Communication tools between parties
Payment Terms
For Clients:
- Payment terms are agreed upon during job posting
- Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule
- Platform fees may apply to transactions
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy and dispute resolution
For Workers:
- Workers receive payment according to job completion terms
- Accurate time tracking is mandatory
- Payment disputes must be reported within 7 days
User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Engage in fraudulent activities or scams
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent the platform for direct transactions
- Upload malicious content or viruses
- Scrape or copy platform content without permission
Verification & Safety
Worker Connect conducts identity verification for all workers. However:
- We cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of all user information
- Users are responsible for their own safety and due diligence
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts pending investigation
- Verified status does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee
Intellectual Property
The Worker Connect platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Worker Connect and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Create derivative works based on our platform
Limitation of Liability
Worker Connect acts as an intermediary platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed
- We do not guarantee job completion or worker availability
- We are not responsible for disputes between clients and workers
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for platform services
Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
- Contact our support team within 7 days of the issue
- Provide all relevant documentation and evidence
- We will attempt to mediate and resolve disputes fairly
- Unresolved disputes may be subject to arbitration under Tanzanian law
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:
- Violation of these terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Non-payment of fees
- Any reason at our discretion
